Fall Family

We drove to Cunningham Falls yesterday-trying to take advantage of the fall colors and local 'hotspots'. We hiked up the back way, climbed on huge boulders and fallen trees, and even spotted a deer that seemed unphased by humans. The photos don't do the waterfall justice, it was spectacular. Joe and the kids climbed the huge 'rock wall and made it to the top (see Connor waving) while I shot pics from the stream below. Awesome day!

Cherish the Everyday

Normal day, let me be aware of the treasure you are. Let me learn from you, love you, bless you before you depart. Let me not pass you by in quest of some rare and perfect tomorrow. Let me hold you while I may, for it may not always be so. One day I shall bury my face in the pillow, or raise my hands to the sky and want, more than all the world, your return.
