Fall Family

We drove to Cunningham Falls yesterday-trying to take advantage of the fall colors and local 'hotspots'. We hiked up the back way, climbed on huge boulders and fallen trees, and even spotted a deer that seemed unphased by humans. The photos don't do the waterfall justice, it was spectacular. Joe and the kids climbed the huge 'rock wall and made it to the top (see Connor waving) while I shot pics from the stream below. Awesome day!

Connor had an awesome week just before Easter. He won an Irish jig contest at school, which is funny because every year we watch him practice when its Irish jig time at school. He does have it in his blood.

Plus, he was Artist of the Week and his piece was displayed in the front entry hall at school all week long. What a proud mommy!!

Random Goodness

This past week we discussed with some new friends how important it is to tithe. They did on Sunday morning. On Monday she was told she'd be getting a $500 bonus at work. God is so good.. This is the kind of thing that lifts my spirits and reminds me how intimately God cares for us.

Then this morning I got an email from my sis:
